All teachers at St. Dominic School hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and are certified by the state of Wisconsin in the specific grade or subject that they teach. From the leadership role of the principal to the teachers and school secretary, the longevity of the staff illustrates their dedication to St. Dominic School and strengthens the continuity of instruction.

Principal: Peggy Henseler has been at St. Dominic School since 1975, 13 years as a middle school teacher and the remaining years as principal. Mrs. Henseler is dynamic, progressive and has high expectations for students and staff. |
| Administrative Assistant: Mary Heus has been in her position since 1979. She is knowledgeable, organized and truly dedicated to the mission of St. Dominic School. Mrs. Heus also acts as school nurse when needed and has a wonderful relationship with the families of the school. Her grown children are St. Dominic School alumni. |

Learning Center: Sandy Hickmann has worked at St. Dominic School since 1993 as Learning Center Coordinator. Mrs. Hickmann offers students from kindergarten through grade 5, small group independent activities to reinforce classroom instruction. The school library for grades K-5 is located in the Learning Center. |
| Kindergarten: Nicole Neils is a 2002 graduate of Lakeland College. She has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood. Nicole comes to St. Dominic in 2007 with five years experience teaching kindergarten. |

Grade 1: Kathy Buchholz has been teaching at St. Dominic School since 1987. She had 3 years of previous teaching experience. She displays warmth, caring and is very successful in helping her students adjust to all day school. Mrs. Buchholz emphasizes environmental awareness and helps students develop an appreciation for God’s creatures. |
| Grade 2: Chrissy Hinn began
teaching at St. Dominic School in the 2005-2006 school year. Mrs. Hinn
is a graduate of UW Oshkosh and has a strong background in reading. Mrs. Hinn is also a graduate of St. Mary's Springs and has a strong
Catholic education background. Mrs. Hinn is very excited to be part of
the St. Dominic family! |

Grade 3: Ann Adelman has been teaching at St. Dominic School since 1989. Reading and math skills continue to be strengthened and education is expanded in the areas of science and social studies. Mrs. Adelman continues to encourage independence while providing warmth and TLC. |
| Grade 4: Kelly Wagner has been teaching at St. Dominic School since 1990. English and language skills are strengthened in her classroom. Mrs. Wagner has a strong computer background and utilizes technology throughout her curriculum. |

Grade 5: Lori Alsteen joined St. Dominic School beginning in the 2002 - 2003 school year. She works hard with the fifth grade students as the stars of the Christmas and Spring concerts. As a graduate of Catholic grade school herself, she brings a strong sense of faith and Christian values to her classroom. |

| Sarah Annelin has been teaching since 1997 at St. Dominic School. She had 2 years of prior teaching experience with strengths in the areas of science and math. In seventh grade, students are mixing chemicals, making plastics and learning through hands-on experience. |

Patti Wenberg has approximately 30 years teaching
experience in both Catholic and public schools. She holds a Bachelor’s
degree in Early Childhood Education and K-8 Elementary Education
as well as a Master’s Degree in Religious Studies. She teaches
middle school religion and social studies. She is passionate about
sharing the rich Catholic faith with students. |
| Pam Tschanz has been teaching since 1989. She taught at St. Dominic School for 10 years and then taught elsewhere for 10 years. Now she is back at St. Dominic since 1998. She is a truly creative teacher with strengths in the areas of language arts including literature, English, and spelling. |

Jean Vogel joined us beginning in the 2002 - 2003 school year. She teaches middle school Spanish. The goal of the Spanish program is to have St. Dominic students move right into 2nd year Spanish in high school. |
| Laural Hilbelink teaches music and joined St. Dominic
School in 2006. Music theory and vocal music are equally emphasized
in the music curriculum. Two concerts are provided each year. |

Roseann Weinhold has been teaching art at St. Dominic School since 1995. Her curriculum includes experiencing many types of art media to allow students to discover what inspires them and enhances their creativity. Students are also introduced to fine works of art and artists. |
| Robyn Williams joined the St. Dominic School family in 2001 as school counselor. She is available on a scheduled weekly basis, or as needed, to address the needs of the child and family. With her common sense approach and personable demeanor, Ms. Williams is also an invaluable resource for the staff. |

Chris Wright began his teaching career in 1990 and was hired at St. Dominic School in the 1999-2000 school year. Mr. Wright teaches physical education and is also student council advisor. |
