Welcome to second grade!

Hello! My name is Chrissy Hinn and I’m the 2nd grade teacher at St. Dominic. I like to think that I have the best job in the whole world. I get to work with wonderful children everyday!

Second grade is very important because students start to become independent thinkers and workers. We do a lot of exciting things in second grade such as: our estimating jar, word wall games, time tests, flashcards, cursive writing, we become bankers, authors and illustrators, we learn about our country and we become real scientists.
