My name is Ann Adelman and I have been teaching at St. Dominic's since 1989. I am a true believer in Catholic education and have sent my own children to Catholic schools from kindergarten through 12th grade. I also conduct a Bible study with the high school youth at my parish, St. Thomas the Apostle. I think third graders are the neatest people to be around. They keep me young and I love their joy for life. Third grade offers many challenges to the students throughout the year. Just walking up the stairs to the second floor proves exciting, because the children are with the "big kids." We also do many fun things in third grade such as a magic show, multiplication, an Indian project, and the Titanic unit. Every year we alternate the project we do with the fourth grade. One year we do a space unit and the next we have an international fair. I feel St. Dominic is the best place to teach. We are more than a school, we are a family. We are the BEST! If you would like to get in touch with me, e-mail me or call the school at (920) 452-8747.
