Welcome to the 7th grade homeroom page.  My name is Patti Wenberg and I began teaching at St. Dominics in 2009.  I have approximately 30 years of teaching experience in both Catholic and public schools. I am passionate about sharing the rich Catholic faith with students.

I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade religion and 6th grade social studies.  For religion we use the text “This is Our Faith.”  Sixth grade focuses on the Old Testament, seventh grade is the New Testament and eighth grade is Church History.  Each class also plans masses, discusses morals and faith and discusses passages and stories found in the Bible.

For social studies the sixth grade focus is world cultures and civilizations.  The students learn about the beginning of civilizations through projects, textbooks and technology.  Weekly we discuss current events that range from local news to world/national news.
